There is a special place on the Island of Elba where time has stopped and where visitors can relax and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings, and avoid the noisy tourism that unfortunately is typical of holiday resorts today. This quiet corner of the island remains practically untouched by man: an island within the island.

The splendid landscape of this area is very difficult to describe. The deep reds of the earth contrasts with the green of the pine trees creating an ever changing prospective that must be seen to be believed. The estate is surrounded by 12km of coastline. The sea is a shade of light, diaphanous blue that is almost unreal. Its cliffs are home to one of the largest colonies of herring gulls in Italy.
